i just need to ask a question my deisel light comes on inertmittingly can any one help me to solve this the car runs great not sluggish

When you say diesel light, do you mean your low fuel light?

Does it have a DPF?  If so you may have to take it for a long drive - at least 1/2 hr, minimum 40mph plus, to clean the filter.

I agree with Boz, if it is DPF (diesel particulate filter) then you need to run it up the motorway. I usually run it in a higher gear slightly to get the revs up and this cleans the filter nicely.

 

However, as your car is a 2000 model, I am not sure it has a DPF
