Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good replacement battery as mine was on the original and has just died.

 

it's for A4 2.0L tfsi 220

 

I've also been wondering if a replacement air filter is worth considering, i.e. K & N.

Not a Bosch, I just returned one after a week, local suppliers are telling me they get more Bosch batteries back than any other brand, I've now got a GSF on mine, seems ok and cheap

That's interesting, I've heard good things about Bosch and they have a good name, but then a "good name" doesn't guarantee you a good product. That being said, I've always Yuasa batteries to be quite good.
