yampiedog Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Just purchased a 53 A6 Avant and so far i'm very pleased with her. I'm a little apprehensive on the CVT box but beggars can't be choosers. Audi have been very helpful with service history but unfortunately no history on the clutch as to whether it has been upgraded to a seven plate one. Will be doing a CVT oil change very soon to be on the safe side. Also i'm trying to find a service manual but Haynes don't seem to do one. Any pointers please? Trevor Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 Hi Martyn...welcome to the Forum! I believe the gearboxes are okay as long as the fluid is changed frequently. There should be plenty of information available for specific tasks on the internet, alternatively ElsaWin is a great source of info (try eBay for a copy).
