1.9 tdi flat battery now won't start

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've got a 2004 A4 1.9 tdi BKE 115 which suffered a flat battery on Sunday but once charged will crank but not now start. Any ideas please?

Hi

welcome to the club

It might sound obvious but did you check interior lights, including rear? (once my daughter was messing with rear interior light and left it on overnight)

Check the battery connection is tightened, best some sometimes remove, clean up and retighten the connectors back on.

If this does it again then you have the battery tested, this can be done at any garage or Halfords. No need to go to Audi for this, too pricey!

Batteries to fade over time and this may be a knackered.
