  1. Thanks for all input guys , I am getting the new egr fitted and I'll give it all a good clean. Cheers Trevor i might put a blanking plate on whist I'm at it as it's the CFF engine and apparently hard work to get at so might aswell whilst Im back there. Mo sounds good 215 but I need to be 100% on the MOT side of things before I start opening up can of DpF I think. 🙃 A spare hollow'd out Dpf for running wouldn't go amiss and keep the stock one for test or like Dan said about a aftermarket system just in case.

Russian roulette mate. Probably the most important bit of rubber on your car. Rather pay £600 now than 2.5k in 6 months time. But then that is only my opinion. Plus I would do it myself so I would only have the cost of the items. why not try a few independent garages that are VAG specialists, might save some 💰

Had mine done at about 5 1/2 years old with 48k on the clock...was about 600 quid if I remember correctly about 3 years ago including the water pump which they always do at the same time..it might get expensive if it does let go and age is just as likely to perish things like belts as the mileage itself. Cheers M
  5. Here is a picture of the screw fixings, hope that helps
