Hi Bradley, many thanks, yes I will do . I did join back in June but have been busy with work etc. I will put my name down for Castle Combe in September. Cheers .
  2. Morning Mark, I recently switched from a 2009 BMW X5 (3.0d) to a 2015 A7 3.0 TDI (272PS) and pretty happy with my choice. Had an issue with the cam chain tensioner which was replaced under warranty and seems to be an isolated issue. MPG bit lower than expected but get 42mpg on a drive from East Yorkshire to Heathrow, better than the X5. The engine growl and low slung ride position is nice and I think it is a nice car shape (though some may debate this) with wide rear haunches. The Beemers are probably more engaging to drive but to be honest in my day to day commute and odd long motorway haul the A7 is pretty darned nice. My car is white, but Daytona Grey would have been my preferred choice :))
  3. Im fairly certain the 2 systems, stop start and auto hand brake are not connected. I saw your other post about the auto HB and it appears there is an underlying issue with that system and nothing to do with the stop start. A few people with similar problems with the Auto HB over on a golf forum i follow had the rear ABS sensors replaced, could be worth suggesting to Audi should your problems persist.
  4. Welcome to the forum Ian :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) sorry to hear your having issues. As Trevor said the best thing to do is check the casting marks. The question we have to ask ourselves is why would they change a wheel and not want you to know? I know that sounds like an obvious question but when you have the wheel off, check for any damage to the underside of the car and see if any parts look cleaner than they should be. When I drove through a puddle once which was a massive potholed it scratched and scored the underside of the car. You could see it was fresh but the marks on the underside. Probably worth if you have look under the car too. Hope iv helped cheers steve
