Hi Kev, thanks for the links. Unfortunately, they take me to Audi Tradition - see the detail in my post - and to Car245 - which is just a page with no option to buy. There is nothing currently listed on eBay. I have made a little progress with Audi Tradition and have obtained an EORI number so that, assuming they are happy with the registration, I can import the part into the UK. They appear to be willing to supply me as a corporate entity rather than a private individual. If that doesn't work and we can't find the individual part anywhere, then we may be able to buy a driver's door as a whole piece and fit that.

Well treated car to cataclean. Waiting for a new obd reader to reset the Ecs to see if it remains off. Fingers crossed 🤞 if it returns then I’m guessing it sensor replacement time. Marty

I bought a scanner to change my rear brake pads to allow me to release the ehb and get the piston back in on the caliper. Works well I thought, pretty straight forward to use and not gonna break the bank ANCEL VD500 OBD2 Scanner Code Reader ABS SRS EPB Oil Diagnostic Tool For VW/Audi. Bought off ebay.

All sorted! pushed back into place, with a few stitches to keep everything in place.

Hi, I've just had a gear linkage kit replaced as I couldn't get the car in reverse (2008 A3). Just noticed yesterday when I put the car in reverse there's no beep sound and the rear sensors no longer work. Could this be connected? Updated: According to the mechanic, "a wire had come off the sensor near to the gear linkage." I checked everything for myself before leaving the garage. Reverse sensors and reverse lights now work.
