Hi the pressure sensor reads the pressure inside the DPF this also helps with the soot calculation to trigger regeneration, the ECU uses the sensor information to start a regeneration, other contributing factors are EGT sensors, if one of those is playing up it wont regen properly, go back to Carly and see if it will give you a code my money is on one of them being P2002, the adblue delete was not a good idea would it not have been easier just to clean the diffuser nozzle in the exhaust just after the cat easy to get to and only requires a spray bottle and warm water, from experience the A6 is heavy on adblue anyway. Towards the rear of the engine , usually, within reach of the dpf.
  4. Have ordered from the Auto Stop Shop who appear to have exactly what I am looking for. They should arrive later this week so fingers crossed. Will keep you posted.

My understanding of pressure switches is they fail and lead you to think a dpf is full at 400% , when it's actually not . You need to scan live data , pressure readings should be as close to zero as possible .
  6. I imagine that if you take that photo into the part dealer you won't need a part name or number.
  7. Look at this thread: https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/29630-constant-tone-when-engine-started-but-no-dash-warnings/#comment-124249

Did this issue appear after the ad blue delete , it does seem likely to be honest . Dpf and ad blue do talk to one another . Normally dpf regens stop working properly with a poor cheap delete map out. It should regen at around 300 miles afaik. ?
