  1. Ok, I'm on the final stretch, I can see the finish line ahead. Hopefully next Friday it can get an MOT. The final parts to complete are, Plug the seats in and clear the Airbag light, Plug the rear Abs sensors in and clear the Abs light, Bolt the front bumper on, Space the rear exhaust down a bit as the tailpipe trims are touching the bumper, Re adjust the rear parking sensor wires as I cut through them when trimming the bumper, Bolt the clutch reservoir to the bulkhead. I will leave the audi r8 rear wheels as they are for now, I can get the new rears to match the fronts in the r8 fitment, it's just not needed for now. The exhaust seems to fit fine, it does sound nice too which was a bonus.
  2. Thanks, it's been 2 1/2 years of parts sourcing, mostly VAG parts.
  3. Hopefully it is ok, my job is an MOT tester so I've built it as best I can to pass. I think the rear needs lowering an inch more, it was too low before but I raised it too much.

Collected my 2025 Audi Q5 TDI from Leeds Audi at 16:00 today after they’d had the car for three days. Unfortunately, by the time I got home the Engine Management Light had returned. I’ve also now lost voice activation and the head-up display navigation. So for anyone wondering, KD2 has not resolved the engine management light issue on my car. It’s going straight back to the dealer again tomorrow morning. Pretty disappointing after three days in the workshop.

Have had my a4 sport 18 months always driven in comfort mode ... today I selected dynamic it was like driving a different car ... impressive
  7. Had another quick look and it looks like the two centre ones are clipped into black plastic surround which possible clips out of the grill underneath the licence plate. Hopefully should be just case of unclipping plastic without breaking it and remove sensor

It might be built into the rear wiper itself. Where the wiper arm mounts.
  9. Both rear discs and pads have been changed under warranty.
  10. Hi. Had a long chat with the master technician. He said there were no error faults. Had no explanation for it. Drove out of the dealership and it occurred again. 11mpg over five miles. So drive back to dealership and took the technician out in the car. After a mile of driving, it started working, cutting off the petrol engine like it should. So none the wiser. He had no answers and had not seen this before. Dropped him off, then half way home after 4 miles of driving, and it’s not working again! It’s charging the battery in intelligent mode, and staying fully in petrol at very poor mpg. I’m going to write to the dealership head of operations because I cannot keep this car for another 21 months like this. I’ll repost an update when I can.
  11. Hi, Thanks for your post, I will mention it when in Audi next week. Me too, I am frustrated with it, and not enjoying it, as I should be for £56,000! I won’t be choosing a plug in hybrid again, that’s for sure!
  12. Hello In my case (sporadic EVAP system failure), after 15 visits to the workshop, the first in August 2023 and the last in October 2025, apparently the problem is solved. They told me it was a defect in the tube (nº 3 in picture) that goes from the N80 valve to the activated carbon filter. After changing the entire tube, from the filter to the valve, and about 6000km driven, the problem did not happen again. I hope it's resolved. Meanwhile, another problem has arisen: the battery does not charge above 95%... Tired of this car!
