    Update: I have replaced the boost pressure valve from the same Audi A4 B9 2.0 TDI. I have done a test drive for about ah hour and the fault has not appeared yet which leads me to believe that the issue has been fixed. Thank you to all that helped.

  2. A3 8p sline front springs

    Filip. I can't answer your question, but whatever you fit you need to change both front springs for a matched pair. Not all springs of the same notional grade are identical, and in any case springs weaken as they age.

    It's likely the instrument cluster has failed, a common fault on A3s. Companies such as ECU testing amongst others can usually repair it for less than £300. You will need to remove the cluster and post it to them.
