  6. a friend of mine had the same issue with a 2008 a4 diesel and it turned out to be the key that was faulty,i think he got the transponder replaced by the lock doctor,Greg

    Hi gareth,im going pick up some parts today for it so ill include the redex in my list,i plugged it in to my vcds last night and no faults so a good service will do a lot for it. thanks again for your help,Greg

    hi gareth thanks for the reply,i done a coolant flush last night and it was badly needed as a lot of sediment flushed out,after putting in fresh petrol and driving it things seem a lot better as i think it was parked up since feb,it needs some work as in discs pads etc so ill keep the forum updated on my progress

    morning folks,ive bought a 93 convertible as a project car and its the 2.3 5 cyl.the car drives fine but it wont stay running when the engine is cold,once it warms up its fine,anyone any ideas? im also looking for passenger side headlight if anyone knows where i could get one,any help appreciated,thanks
  12. it looks slightly different from my 2016 model but im sure theres 2 screws behind the triangle when you remove it
  13. hi pete,its fairly simple to remove,its in 2 parts but you only need to remove the lower panel,it has 3 torx screws across the bottom of the panel,remove these and use a plastic tool to seperate the panel from the boot and give it a good pull, Greg

  16. hi juuso,this is a common problem with these models,i got an autoelectrician to disconnect my immobiliser and the i disconnected the central locking pump myself,no problems since but it means all doors need to be opened and locked manually,i hope this helps.Greg
