hi malachy, when that model was sold new here in ireland that was the standard way they came with no side repeaters,a lot of them were imported secondhand from the uk and the 1st tell tale sign of a uk import was the side repeaters.so they were definitely sold in others countries like this as standard.Greg.

yeah that would be the best option,it only takes a couple of minutes with the vcds, best of luck,Greg

hi david ,your right in that you can reset the oil service but youl need vcds to reset the service light,a standard obd wont do it either i think

hi mark, any main dealer will always give you a list of jobs that need to be done and most can be ignored in my opinion, however id definitely be taking it to a good mechanic for a second opinion before audi do anything to it,greg.

hi mark, this happened to a pal of mine with a 2007 Q7,a uk company had done work on his ecu and when he got it back and fitted it he called them and they sorted all the faults while he was on the phone.this might be worth a try?greg

hello all,my airbag light came on last weekend on my 1995 audi coupe, the vcds is saying its the airbag igniter on the passenger side ,i tried clearing it but it keeps coming back.is this the cylinder type unit attached to the seat belt assembly and can it be replaced?ive never seen this come up as a fault before.thanks greg.

im not too sure what name youd put on it,i be showing the pic to my motor factors and see can they supply the part or else use a press to remove the old one and reuse it.
-
you can buy the part separately but id say youl need a hydrualic press to remove and fit the new one.greg

yes steve it would have the clear lenses in 1995 and also the alarm shoucd activate when the key is used to lock the car[no fob],it works off a vacuum pump/motor and its located on thedrivers side behind the panel youd call a door card if it had a door.hope this helps, greg.

hi stuart, maybe check the sump nut ,and see did you over tighten the nut and crack the sump,as the sump is aluminium its easy happen.

how old is your battery? it may be worth getting it checked as a bad battery can throw up faults

hi ,the colour code is also on a sticker on the inside page of the owners manual,or failing that youl have to take off the fuel cap door and take it to a body shop and they should get you the code.greg
