  1. Gas, the good thing about Asda tyres is, you can buy premium brand tyres for mid range prices.. I bought 4 tyres for my A4 3.0 TDi Quattro for £200 less than Halfords and two other high street suppliers..
  2. Have you tried Asda tyres dot com? You can get some !Removed! good discounts on tyres through them.
  3. Well got the car back and it appears there was nothing wrong with the binnacle according to the system used to check it, but they did a reset and fitted a couple of new wires where they know there’s a tendency for it to break and it’s working just fine now. Technology is a wonderful thing
  4. Well it looks like the binnacle needs to go away for repair, Audi wants over £2k to replace it with a new one…..
  5. Hi all, went to start the car the other day and the colour screen between the speedo and rev counter which shows navigation prompts has stopped working just black/blank, and the Trip Meter reset button has also stopped working too at the same time. any ideas would be welcome, thank you. Gary, Salisbury
  6. Hi Robeano, I’ve got the 2009 Audi A4 SE and it has the aux input cable port in the arm rest at the rear of the storage area, you should find yours there. I don’t have blue tooth, so not sure how easy a retro fit it would be! Rgds Gary, Salisbury
  7. I had a similar issue with my A6 and a friendly RAC man fixed it by soldering a wire to the metal line/rail that connects all the bulbs to the system and then secured the other end to a good earth on the car, problem solved.. cheers gary
  8. Hi all, thank you for admitting me to the Forum. As the title says, I’m not new to the brand and have owned the following Audi’s: 1975 - Audi 75 Estate, in Dark Green with a column change gearbox, excellent car. 2004 - Audi Cabriolet 2300cc in white with blue roof and interior, eventually sold the car to a friend in the Merseyside, who I believe still has it. 2006 - Audi A6 SE 2.4 v6 in white with grey leather interior, lovely car and stunning looks. 2022 - bought a Audi A4 (B8) SE Quattro 3.0 TDi auto, very, very low mileage in met grey with light cream leather interior, looking forward to many miles in this one. Happy New Year all Gary Salisbury
