  1. A lot of the time the actuator is stuck with carbon that then wrecks the plastic sprocket inside it. Easy fix, clean with brake cleaner then order brass replacement sprocket on eBay. To get the old moulded sprocket off use a soldering iron to melt the moulded pins
  2. If you want drilled and vented got to mtec.... fraction of the price and dead on quality. I put them on mine.
  3. My dmf started to rattle... mechanic told me drive away at it untill you notice an issue driving rather than noise. I got another 30k miles before it needed replacing, I know a mechanic an he done the job for 120 labour when everyone else quoted me 500+ 🤣
  4. How does your clutch pedal feel? I had something like that after I got a new clutch and flywheel. Ended up the clutch fluid was done along with the clutch slave cylinder. Very easy to fix.
  5. So I recently had stalling at junctions issues.vcds said all the injector deviations were okay, my specified and actual fuel rail pressure was okay, no codes listed. Changed the tank pump and filter - didn't work. Changed the fuel regulator and that has stopped the stalling but the car is doing regens constantly every drive and down in power. Plugged in vcds soot under 11g , ash/oil 0.9L. no dpf lights but temp goes to 90 from it's usual 84 odd and the fuel economy drops to about 38mpg which I assume is the regen happening. I only drive motorway miles so now I'm thinking there is something else underlying wrong that was showing up a weak rather than failed fuel regulator which then caused my stall issues. Has anyone had anything like this before or any hints on what next to look at.
