Injectors and compression test. . Unburnt fuel vapour out of the exhaust smacks of inefficient ignition stroke. Either overfueling, poor vapourisation or poor compression not giving enough heat to get the desired bang?

Even though there is no existing thread regarding your topics of inquiry there may well be Folk on here with relevant experience. Most Forum threads are started by a question. When you say Audi Approved I take it you mean non-Audi franchise so manned with ex- Audi Trained technicians? Sounds to me like they want to put it right without the expense an Audi Franchise would charge to fix it properly. If it was me I would want the best attention paid for future peace of mind.
