Young kid needs help with possible s4 purchase Im looking at buying a 2015 audi s4 the guy has owned it less then a year witch worries me and also had some major repairs done with only 53000 miles on it had a clean title no accidents clean car fax but here is the work that was done to please lmk if these red flags are anything to worry about or this is a common issue with these cars i dont know if this normal in these car it has 63000 miles as of right now

Well Ruby, trying to sort it out rather than getting your trusted car dealer friend to sort it, must obviously be your choice. I think if I was the ‘dealer friend’ I would at least want to know about it, and be offered an opportunity to be involved in sorting it out, but….. Regards, Gareth.

Now they want the dealer to look at the car, the car that was at the dealer in April with issues. Two steps forward one step backwards.

My Audi A8L driver seat air cooler only stays on for 25 seconds. I have checked all the connections to the back of the seat by disconnecting each component and the seat still goes off after 25 seconds for each. I have disconnected the electrics to the seat on the floor under the drivers seat and the air cool system switch lights stayed on and don’t go off after 25 seconds when switched on. I have removed the unit with the switched on and checked the back of it to see if any wires are kinked or damaged and can’t find any. in short when the seat is connected and up and running the air cool system only stays on for 25 seconds, when the seat plug is disconnected underneath the seat the air cooler blue lights stay on and do not go off after 25 seconds. Does anyone have any ideas as I think it is possibly the switch unit itself that needs to be replaced. If anyone else has had this issues and has resolved this, I would love to know how. I'd like to find a set of these alloys. I am not aware of any Audi part number but I believe they were a factory option for the Type 81/85 Audi 80/90 saloon (Sport) and GT Coupe. They are from the Ronal R8 range, 15x7 inch (as opposed to the 14x6 inch standard), 4x108PCD wheel nuts, ET42 offset. They appear to be identified by a Ronal code KBA-40834. I have found them elsewhere in Europe and I may end up sourcing them from overseas but thought I'd ask here first. I am aware that the same casting is machined to suit the Mk2 golf but obviously these are 4x100PCD and have ET25 offset so won't fit the 80/90/Coupe. Hope I've given enough info. Check the attached pictures. To my mind these are one of the few wheel upgrades that look correct and of the same 1980s period appearance as the standard fitment. Any further information or part number information to help my search would also be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Looking for thoughts.. I have a 2018 A5 sportback 2.0Tfsi...I've just returned from a 6hr drive to and from Cornwall the car never missed a beat..just aircon issues hoping its not anything more than a re-gas..after 3hrs of driving the blowing slowed down and the sir became warmer, turned the blower up to full and the airflow was very low, then a musty smell, which I presume is the aircon needing to be re-gassed.. small trips during the week no problems with the airflow or temperature but yhen the return trip home and after 3-4hrs the airflow was low and temperature warmed up..could this be a re-gas?, motor?, compressor? Have him Jump the electrical connector to see if there is a problem with the pads ir your wireing harness

These two models offered in the UK differ by engine torque & horsepower. If I want to “update” a 45 TDI to a 50 TDI, then is it mostly just a Stage 1 remap?
