Hello to all audi owners 🙂 i'm thinking of buying an audi a6 allroad 2015-2018 years with 3.0 tdi (most likely 272hp version). Asking owners of the same motor/models. is the a6 allroad worth it? what are the main issues with it? anything important to be checked when seeing some of them? Any suggestion/review about this model is welcome. Thank you in advance, have a great day

Hello all. Just bought a 75k miles 2018 1.6TDI which also makes an intermittent high pitched squeal from the right / rear side of the car. Turning the engine off & restarting sometimes stops the noise. Car is going back to the garage where we bought it from & I will update you on outcome. Not holding my breath as they sold the car with 1 winter tyre (FOS) 1 part worn (FNS) & 2 cheapo-no-grip on the rear!

Hi there, we haven't unfortunately. Not heard of this show. Will check it out.

OK Colin, now we understand. I would be surprised if 17 wasn’t standard/ available option. Now you need to check the hand book/ inside fuel filter cap to ensure that is correct, and that the tyre width and profile match what is specified, and the tyre pressures are set to the required pressure Please let us know how you get on. Regards, Gareth.

You can order the matrix lights on the myAudi app. I think one off £1 for a month initially on most the in app addons but thereafter user term choice and price dependant on pack.

Yes I've checked everywhere in the car for loose bits and parts it's driving me mad and my husband we totally stumped

Has the egr been fitted correctly? Or blanked off correctly? It might need an Audi specialist who him should have a more advanced diagnostic machine.

Think the bumper has to come off to remove the headlight.

Hello Sean, It’s now Wednesday following you joining and posting your request for help on Monday. Mark has given you a most helpful reply, but it appears you have not returned to the forum to read, let alone acknowledge, the help you have been given. Please don’t continue this ‘Post and run’ tactic. Regards, Gareth.

Hello Holly, I can understand you being the parts chaser, otherwise you are paying the mechanic for his time to do so. Having said that, I don’t know exactly how you are going about this, where you have looked to date, whether you are set on secondhand parts, and all important - do you know the part number of the hub you are searching for. Perhaps you could colour in this detail for us Holly. Regards, Gareth.

I think they're meant to be on all the time, I just found this on another site In UK, new type approvals (ie new models introduced) after Feb 2011 had to have always on front DRLs. Hope that helps Jason. -
I started my car a couple weeks ago and accidentally blipped the throttle while it was on cold start and got this horrible rattle that I can produce every time, it now does it for a split second when first cranking the car. Does this sound like the chain? Thanks https://youtube.com/shorts/x58XhvWhios?si=z8ipEYDhh-ZZeeoB

Sad to say I'm selling what has been my pride and joy for the last 4 years. Honestly gutted to be selling but I have a new job that comes with a company car benefit too good to ignore (making the jump to EV...). 3 owners, full service history and I've just had all 4 alloys refurbished, she's running great and looks even better. Any comment on the last three replies Dm? I know you have seen them. -
Thanks for the quick response! I was suspecting a worn rubber bush or but always worry it might be more (praying its not!). There's no leaking fluid anyway but I will update as soon as I get it looked at.
