  2. I questioned the brand and quality. And this was response. Offering a 2 year warranty, surely not a cheap knock off right? The new one should restart the 2 years again. They have been great to deal with though which makes a change from some garages ive used. And i will do as you suggested for paperwork. Thanks

  4. Hi did anyone ever find answers to this or have a garage find a solution please as I am experiencing the same with my A3?? Much appreciated
  5. Chances are the headlight is made by Hella. The original OE Audi version will be double that. Even if you're going after-market, then I'd opt for Hella. No point having adaptive headlights if they don't work.
  6. Pleasure, hope you can work something out. That’s a very nice number to have, and of course it’s unique! Kind regards, Gareth.
  7. Hi All does anyone have a cross section of the inner door rubber seal (weatherstrip) mine is pretty worn out but looking at prices online for a new one (around £100) I’m looking for alternatives has anyone used anything aftermarket with any success? Many thanks in advance
  8. Allowed a friend to plug in her iphone to charge it from USB-C socket by gearstick… next thing the car starts uploading her data / removes my sat-nav data etc …. after overnight & after a couple of restarts it eventually restores me as key user etc. Suggestions please on how to do a simple charge - should I use the rear seat sockets or will the issue be repeated?
  9. Hello Cassandra, Was the light in the tailgate section damaged in the accident?
  10. please keep us posted on how you get on
  11. Different coil packs could imply the previous owner has been trying to fix this issue for a while. Make sure the guy deleting any codes saves notes them down first. Please keep us posted on how you get on

  14. Dear All, I just wanted to remove my oil pan on my 2.0 TDI CGL 177ps multitronic Avant because of leaking (damaged draing plug hole). Everything is removed in the area, no bolts are holding the pan but I'm still not able to pull off, don't have enough space. I'm a bit confused at the moment, at the front I've also removed A/C compessor and removed 2-2 bolts from subframe but it is not moving anything...How can I create more space, any idea?

  16. This forum doesn’t have any issue with your user name either, but it does have certain standards in relation to actual names, and my personal view is that by changing it from ‘D’ to ‘&’ is simply an attempt to be clever and to extract the urine - impolite! I’ll refrain from further comments about your posts and wish you, and those you deal with at the dealer, good luck with your purchase. There we are then!
  17. Now has full MOT with only advisories on brake wear
  18. Could this be a fueling issue?
  19. You're welcome. It should be there as my A6 is of a similar age and design. Definitely not!
  20. Is it noisy? There's cases of humming or ticking noises from the pump:
  21. Very nice. Think I've been past it.
  22. Thanks Naresh, I would suggest restricted use and very frequent level checking when you do have to use it. Don’t depend on the ‘low coolant ‘ message popping up to remind you to do that. Regards, Gareth.
  23. Any particular reason why your Sign On has now changed to Guest, Paul?
  24. thanks -for the welcome
  25. You're welcome 🙂 Yes. I believe a crank sensor can.
