  1. Past hour
  2. Upgraded hybrid turbo from turbo technic or similar. Powerflow for the exhaust. They have suppliers nationally.
  3. It really couldn't be simpler or more straightforward if you've got two keys mate.
  4. Today
  5. Oh super job I’ll try that out later thanks very much appreciate that dave I replaced the key batteries yesterday so I’ll watch the video later thank you
  6. It already has a turbo or do you mean another ? And in regards to parts, do you know anywhere I can get them sourced ?
  7. Good afternoon All. Can anyone tell me if the front o/s wing on the A3 2009 will fit my A3 sports back 2010, please.
  8. Seriously mate, I'd try this method first as it's really simple (especially as you have two keys), works perfectly, and is so idiot proof even I managed it at the first attempt. You don't need to mess around with the VCDS clearing memory slots or anything like that and you'll have both your keys programmed in two minutes with zero fuss. I'd change the batteries in them first to save messing around in the future. The information and instruction you need starts 9.00 minutes into the video. I wish I'd found it ages ago as it would've saved me a load of hassle in the past. Let us know how you get on please. 2003 A6 C5 key reprogramming (two key method) - Audi A6 (C5) Forum - Audi Owners Club (UK)
  9. Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying the new A5 petrol front-wheel drive 204ps model, but I'm not the biggest fan of Hybrid or mild-hybrid cars. Somewhere I read that the whole new A5 series is mild-hybrid, somewhere else that only the A5 Diesel and S5 are mild-hybrid. I didn't manage to find a clear answer from the official site. Does anybody know please?
  10. I have a 2021 Audi A3 edition 1 and I’ve had issues with the automatic online maps update. It has been stuck on installing for around 6 months now and I can’t seem to get rid of it/get it to finish. If I click the banner in the attached photo it just takes me to the updates page which just says “installing…” so I can’t access any of the manual update options or cancel the update. I’ve tried a full factory reset, soft reset, plugging in a USB with the maps update on and calling my local Audi who just told me to use apple car play 😂. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Thanks Brian - I agree. These parts don’t seem very robust.
  12. Hey, tried this with my Audi A3 2021 Edition 1 and there wasn’t anything really exciting. All I ended up doing was turning lane assist memory on. If you have the obdeleven app you can preview what apps/features it thinks will be available for your car (even if you don’t have one yet) and I found it to be mostly accurate!
  13. Okay, thanks. Roger
  14. It is a bit. But, Audi South East said they can do the checks in a day, which is better. so, it is booked in this Wednesday 2nd July.
  15. Hi Audi A6 C8 50TDI Quat MY2020 bought from new owner here. Pretty sure my MHEV 48V system will be more or less identical to the A8. I had the similar electrical issue in Jan 25 described here, which was originally diagnosed as needing a new Starter Generator. The diagnosis was then amended to needing a new Starter Generator belt tensioner. This fixed the problem. Last week I had Electrical Failure with the yellow and red battery symbol along with the associated messages and sequential shut down of the A/C and MMI. When I tried to start the car, it would hardly turn over. Started it with my NOCO jumpstart which got it going. As the battery was clearly drained - probably as the result of getting no charge - I put the car on charge using the under bonnet red connector and nearby negative lug in accordance with the handbook. The following morning, I drove the car to Audi with as many electrical services switched off. Managed to cover the 15 miles ok but not sure how long it would have lasted for. Having done some research on-line, I found that a failed starter generator replacement is now a free of charge fix. This was great news, as the car is 5 1/2 years old. Picking the car up later this morning. Total time with Audi was 5 days including a weekend. It was a very good outcome, but I am concerned that the new part will be the same as the old part - but hoping it has been modified. Details for the A6 FOC repair are below. Not sure if it applies to the A8, but certainly worth checking. Recall reference R/2020/265 Recall Type Car Recall Date 2020-10-02 Reason for concern MOISTURE MAY ENTER THE BELT DRIVEN STARTER-ALTERNATOR Reason for recall It is possible that moisture may enter the belt-driven starter-alternator. 16. Hey thanks for the offer but I am not looking for a 2.8 engine and no Avant I want a Saloon But thanks for the offer 🙂
  17. So stage 2 straight through exhaust such as powerflow etc. Better injectors, turbo and intercooler. Then remap. Don't forget to get the gearbox mapping looked at afterwards too.
  18. This must be infuriating for you.
  19. Did you find this cos I have one. A4 B5 1998 2.8L quattro a any
  20. I have a 1998 2.8 Avant. Any good?
  21. Hi. Just received a letter from Audi UK recalling my car yet again. "Checking High Voltage Battery" The car has to be in the workshop for at least 4 days, Audi say that you WILL be given a courtesy car, but we will see if Audi South East renege on this as usual to me. On reading the letter it seems that the car will need to go into the workshop for 4 days for battery checks every 90 days until they release the new delayed diagnosis soft ware. Until then it says "Do not charge beyond 80%". So now I have a car which which cost me £85k, and will be in and out of the workshop and only 80% range. Tony
  22. Hello, Hopefully someone here has managed to disassemble one of these control heads. I have managed all except for the last step on this 8X0.035.183.F from a 2014 A1. The middle switch is defective but I have found the exact replacement part 62AGY22033. I just cannot remove the circuit boards as shown in the photo. Two screws attaching the board have been removed but it won’t budge. There is an odd looking plastic extrusion just under the board that I suspect may be some sort of release but nothing I have tried works. I’m afraid to apply too much force. The metal chassis surrounding the board is loose from the front plate but is stopped by the CB from coming off. Thanks in advance if anybody knows the answer! Peter
  23. Yesterday
  24. Just ecu map, it does also have a race chip. 1.8 tfsi dsg.
  25. The cleanliness, part numbering and yellow paint suggest the engine has been newly rebuilt. Unfortunately as a private sale the vendor has little obligation to fix the leak unless you can show written evidence that he has deceived you regarding the engine condition.
