  1. Past hour
  2. So just an update, I’ve had top mount replaced, track rod end, ball joint and drop link all replaced at a cost !! but the creaking noise is STILL there !!!! mostly on a slow left turn it’s like a creak, springy sound. I’m sick of throwing money at it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
  3. Stopped at around 14:00 for me
  4. Yup same here. Was driving along the M4 and it just suddenly stopped working at around 2pm. Same as before.

    DAB Radio

Just asked copilot AI ' The UK DAB National transmission network is primarily controlled by Arqiva, a major communications infrastructure company. Arqiva owns and operates the Digital One multiplex, which has been broadcasting since 1999 and covers over 90% of UK households. They also manage the Sound Digital multiplex, launched in 2016, which provides additional digital radio services. Additionally, Ofcom, the UK's media regulator, oversees broadcasting licences for digital radio ensemble operators and stations. Arqiva - TV, Radio, Satellite Data Communications & Smart Metering

  10. Today
  11. Yes, sounds like cabling/loose connection - good luck!
  12. Hi. Thanks for the reply. It makes perfect sense as mine my start to work when I open and close the boot or either of the back doors. I will look into changing the cable
  13. Hiya, just checked my paperwork (should have read it more closely!), but they also noticed a kink in a cable going to the camera. The notes say that when they moved the cable, the camera would come on intermittently. In the end, they replaced the cable to the camera and associated wiring. The camera has worked 100% of the time since. Hope that helps!
  14. Hi - I have recent acquired a 2008 A6 (C6)avant sline and I am experiencing rattle from the front brakes driving over rough road surfaces. I note the car has recently had new discs and pads and only 10% worn. I have renewed the caliper springs on both sides and this has largely improved the problem but annoyingly there still some rattle from both sides. Being a sline with harder suspension is this a common problem on these cars on our bad roads. Further my local garage has inspected the suspension and can only find that anti-roll bushes may required to be replaced in the distance future, and could only be an advisory on the MOT, but offer no more advice. Anybody had the same problem and solved it?
  15. Exactly, I was shocked when I found out. Definitely worth looking for speaker adapter kits first.
  16. For "lower pulley" do you mean the crankshaft pulley? Thanks!
  17. Thanks for the reply. I shouldn't really be surprised by this, as I actually work for a car manufacturing company and they do everything they can to cut costs. To them it's all about the bottom line, they all say the customer comes first but in reality it's profit first. Customer satisfaction is a secondary thought. Wonder why there is no brand loyalty anymore. I was actually thinking of the aftermarket route when I asked the question, just can't find any info on the speakers like I said.
  18. Hi I'm thinking of buying my first Audi what do you think of the Audi A7 55tfsi c8 2018? It's has full Audi history on 34000 miles. Just wondering it there are any major issues with this car. Thanks for any advice in advance
  19. Could it be an issue with the injector seals or flow plugs?
  20. Definitely don't rule out aftermarket upgraded items from pioneer, JVC etc. Have a look at this regarding B&o speakers: https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/25250-b-o-is-it-genuine-or-just-a-rip-off/
  21. Nice one, sounds like the A6 is in good hands. Whilst the front is off for the cambelt and water pump it might be worth replacing the lower pulley as mine nearly fell off! And the thermostat whilst he has easy access.
  22. I tried Bosch Aero Twins as they were the recommended result at another retailer for my reg and they didn't fit either.
  23. Yep their results were the same as Halfords
  24. I have to make you aware of the legalities of it as a staff member. I fully understand why you went down the remap route. This is the thing, regardless of how old audits become the servicing is always expensive.
  25. Welcome Tim, and thanks for joining. Washer jets at arms can be a bit of an aftermarket problem area. I tend to deal with Parts in Motion at Exeter - worth giving them a ring and talking it through - they are generally very helpful. I’ve had a similar issue with a non-Audi, but found a pair of Bosch Aero -twin? could be fitted. O.E could have been Valeo, so worth an investigation on that front too-? Let us know how you get on Tim. Kind regards, Gareth.
  26. Hi Tim, Have you tried these guys? https://www.wiperblades.co.uk/
