Hello there 

Recently the price of my insurance has gone up by almost £300 to £1130 with aviva. I was wondering if anyone knew of any cost effective insurers please?

Funny, as I had a similar experience with Aviva. Once they knew I was going to leave they dropped it dramatically. I have 3 cars hence why I'm with them (multicar) but when I added my third car they wanted to charge me £1500 just for that car! I battled with them and said I'll keep my other 2 cars with them as they were cheap but told them I'd got a cheaper quote for the newer car and in the end I got all 3 cars insured for £1500! 

But.it all depends on the sales person you deal with.
