Been playing up for a few days sounding like air intake noise. yesterday started it and rpm was all over the place when idling switched it off restarted it all was ok , today drove it up the motorway for 9 miles at 80 no issues at all. Then went to start it to come back home and again throttle was all over the place, this time it wouldnt sort itself. Called out AA discovered when it was running the intercooler hose coming off the intake manifold was collapsed under heavy vacuum. He took the pipe off and it didnt run too bad. Managed to drive it home with pipe disconnected . Soon as the pipe is reconnected it goes back to running bad and the pipe collapses. Obviously there is no pressure or anything else come to that coming throu the intercoolers etc any ideas?  The air intake noise has been apparent for a few days in the background however obviously one thing has led to another or just got alot worse
