What to look for when buying a 2009 2.0TFSI Quattro DSG

Featured Replies

Im going to look at an A3 this weekend at autochoice car supermarket in Blackburn, I’m just wondering if there is anything specific I need to look out for.

Its an Audi A3 2.0TFSI Quattro, 5dr, S line, DSG with 51806 miles, full service history.

i was just wondering if there was anything in particular I need to look out for/stay clear from when looking at this car?

Don't buy unless it has had the timing chain tensioner replaced. You might end up needing a new engine or rebuild costing £4k/£8k. Just steer clear of the tfsi.
