Missing hose on 1.8TFSI engine?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've recently purchased a very tidy 60k mile 2010 1.8TFSI A3 Black Edition. The cam followers failed on the previous owner so it's had a lot of head work done. I've just noticed a spigot just below the fuel pump that looks like it should have a hose connected. I'm concerned the garage has missed this when fitting the repaired head. Does anytone have the same engine and can confirm if it should have a hose attached? I've included a picture of the offending spigot.

Cheers,

Steve
