Hi all.

I was hoping you could offer some advice on what I should be looking for.

I am clear on a few things I want - B8, 2.0T engine, manual transmission, quattro drivetrain. (2009 onwards for a timing chain in the engine rather than a timing belt?)

However, my brother has a B6 quattro with sports suspension and is telling me I should be making sports suspension a deal breaker.

Am I right in thinking an SE quattro which isn't an s-line has comfort suspension?

Therefore do I just need to make sure I get an S-Line model? Or is it more complex than that?

Then I suppose, is it an easy retrofit?

Thanks and look forward to hearing your views!

I have an Audi A3 S Quattro.  Yes, the S has what is termed dynamic suspension.  This is actually comfort suspension by another name and is the standard version.  It’s a good balance between bump absorption and performance.
