Audi Q7 Not as much driver room as expected

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have just bought a 2011 Audi Q7 S-Line 3.0.  I am surprised how little room there seemS to be in the drivers compartment.

The bucket type seats are a bit narrow but leg room is limited.

Options, does anyone know if the MK1 seats will fit the same runners?  Is there is a non sport seat available on the MK2?  Is there is a non electrical version that may not be as high?

There is plenty of head room it is the room between my legs and the steering wheel.

Does anyone know if the foot rest on the left of the brake pedal on an automatic is removeable?  If this was screwed on rather than part of a mould then removing this would enable me to lower my left leg .

I am assuming that moving the SEAT runners back 3 or 4 inches is a non starter.

How tall are you ?!?  I've just bought a Q7, a 2009, and it's been fine.  I'm 6'4" and have often had the problem you describe with leg / steering wheel on other cars, but not here.
