Doors won't open either with Fob or key

Hi

Have an Audi TT 2007. Popped out to the shops, when came back to vehicle could not open the doors. Boot will open. The lights flash and I can hear the mechanisms working to unlock but both doors but unable to open. After 10 mins,  long pressed the open button for 10+ seconds and the windows began to open,  allowing me to put my arm in and open from inside. Back in driveway, locked the car and now cannot open either doors with the fob (replaced battery) or the key. Everything appears to be working inc the light coming on in the cabin but doors stay shut.

Any ideas on this.
