2013 A4 Avant 2.0TDI (150hp) Black Edition - performance mods

Featured Replies

Hi

I’m looking to add some performance modifications to my A4.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what to go for that’s work well and what to avoid / things to be careful about?

I’m planning to get a stage 1 remap,  ew intake and exhaust system.

Any comment or success / disaster stories most welcome.  I’ve found a few threads on here but not specifically for my year and model.

Thanks

Chris

My only advice would be:- don't just go getting something like a K&N cylinder/cone type air filter, they are not as good as you may think, because it's drawing in warm air from the engine bay, "where the hot engine is". Buy a performance filter that fits into the original ducting, that channels cold air from outside the car, or cut into the bonnet and fit an air scoop.
