Pwm Posted February 22, 2022 Share Posted February 22, 2022 Hi. Replaced egr valve after getting engine management light on and fault code p040100 coming up on code reader. After changing egr reset code and engine management light went out then came back on after few days.Plugged code reader in and fault code p040100 was back up. After a bit of research online replaced the dpf sensor as heard this could cause the fault code. Again reset the code and was fine for couple days but fault code is back again and engine management light is back on.Anyone got any ideas. Pwm Posted February 23, 2022 Author Share Posted February 23, 2022 Yip done all that when EGR was changed wasn’t to bad to be honest. Think the next idea would be to check for any vacuum leaks, have you had any known issues with a vacuum leak at certain places as it could be a good point to start where people have had issues before. Thanks Paul Hi did you readapt the new EGR and sensor as this would cause the fault to re surface as the ECU only has the old adaptation values stored, when readapting is in place the ECU learns the new values as it goes along the drive cycles and absorbed those as the new operating parameters.
