Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can offer some help/advice.
 

My Audi Q7 3.0ltr, automatic, 2012, approx 110k mileage has got a “gearbox malfunction with limited functionality” and will not select neutral or drive only Park and Sport.
 

What I’m confused about is when Drive is selected the glow plug warning light flashes and then goes off once in Sport. 
 

Does anybody know what could be causing this or has anyone suffered something similar?
