a4 b8 avant pre-fl halogen to pre-fl led rear lights

Hey! i am thinking to swap my rear halogen lights to led tail lights, i haven't bought anything yet, but i would like to know what should be done, i saw a post where someone did that to a sedan, and i'm wondering if the repining of the tail lights would be the same and the coding too ? Or maybe someone who has and avant  in EU with pre-facelift led lights could send what code he has in module 46 and enter security code 16017, in channels 180 to 210?
