Water at below seats in rear carpet area

Featured Replies

Hi - We’ve got water that is soaking the rear carpet. There’s also a sloshing noise you can notice sometimes when driving along. Any thoughts on this?

it’s the TT Quattro convertible 2016 model.
reading up a bit it could be the drainage system?
otherwise not sure and there’s a lot of water.
Any suggestions to try or get it over to local mechanic. We’ve got an Audi dealership but stopped taking as super expensive for no apparent reason!

I’m not a mechanic but I had the same problem but from the passenger footwell, someone suggested it could possibly be something to do with the heater matrix coming from behind the dashboard? I’m not sure how true that is but could be possible

Cool - Appreciate the input 👍🏻

I wish people would post back to the original thread and let everyone know what happened. IE what it turned out to be and how they fixed it and if the issue has gone away.

This would be super useful for ALL of us that own these cars where this seems to be a big issue.
