RS4 Avant B8 rev restrictions 6000

Hi 

I have recently purchased an RS4 2013 and after a few days the temp raises just above normal and then 6000 limit light (as below) comes on, as soon as engine goes back to normal temperature the restriction warning light disappears, any ideas??
