tomp Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Hi, I have a 3.2 A4 Convertible first registered Nov 2007. A noise has developed from the engine which increases when increasing load on the engine. If it were an old ohc engine then you would think that your tappets needed adjusting. Glen Posted December 13, 2012 Share Posted December 13, 2012 This sound is normally quite a big issue and unless you're a skilled mechanic I wouldn't try to fix this yourself.
