Recently bought A7 3.0 TDI V6 Black Edition Sportback S Tronic quattro, and am looking for recommendations for the best Carplay Adapter on the market, based on previous persons actual purchases

Prefer plug and play to save on fitting costs, but happy to pay to get it fitted if needs be

Hi Craig,

You should be able to update your MMI system to have car play integrated, I'll try and find the videos. You can also pay somebody to do this for you.

Thanks Tommy. I tried a YouTube vid from "Yo Satch!", bought an SD, did the download, and there is one file that errors, so its not fully completing. Happy to pay, just being ok with tech I thought i'd be able to sort it

Just wondering now if, because I tried the watch one first, will the mr fix one overwrite it correctly. Not sure how to roll it back. I’ll give it a go see what happens

Does your MMI system still work? It could have aborted the installation without installing anything

MMI still works, just doesn’t have the “Apple CarPlay” option, or ask if I want to activate it when I plug in

Do you have the new option on the menu "Audi Smartphone"?

Just done the mr fix download, all sorted. Mr Fix does exactly that. Cheers for your help
