Red side door lights & puddle lights instillation

Hi everyone I guess this subject has cropped up before but I’m still quite new to this forum, I have a 2016 Audi Q5 S-Line and was very disappointed to find that the red lights on my doors are infact only red reflectors and not lights. Well I would like to upgrade these to working red lights along with fitting puddle lights to the base of the doors, looking for any advice about which kit to buy and how to wire them into the car system ( ie do they need to be coded to work) I have a ODB reader but I don’t know if they will code the vehicle, plus must admit I really like the Audi rings that can be shown from the puddle lights. Any help would be great.
