You may find on the pipe the part number, it may help you with getting a replacement pipe, I see it seems to run from the Turbo on the induction side, so more than likely an induction pipe

Hi Darryl, there's no part number on the pipe.

Daft question perhaps Ian, but any objection to getting a new one from Audi - except cost!?
Kind regards,

Gareth.

No objection at all , but you know its gonna cost a kidney 😢

TBH, i think its going to be my only option.

Strange, but as far back as a couple of decades ago, factors seem to have stopped supplying coolant hoses. This situation may well still apply??
Try Audi Parts Direct at Cardiff for some possible discount. They do mail order. Part of Mon Motors, which were Cardiff Audi.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Kinda there with this… from a series of back and forth emails with images, my local Audi main dealer have come up with a part  number…

04E 103 474 BB.

snag is, after doing a google search of said part number, images don’t look exactly like my part.
I’ll order anyway and cross that bridge when I come to it.

The crankcase to Turbo breather hose appeared to be deteriorating... on removal,  what i  thought was the rubber hose turning spongy, was just an outer sheath.

Was tricky tracking a replacement ...

Surprisingly, the replacement was reasonably priced from Audi ...

Strange... the new hose does not have a nozzle on the turbo connector end

Where the original has ...

What is  more puzzling, the nozzle is blanked off on the inside image.gif.e9569f39d385e2e446de33f57970510e.gif

original in place (turbo end)
