Only when the car is warm it will clunk and not go into gear will this be the ecu on the gearbox 

Does it sound like the mechatronics unit or the clutch has gone 

Yes to both 

That fault happened Friday 

 

Transmission fluid and filter was changed in January 2023 

Ok do you think it could be the Mechatronics unit or clutch 🤔 

There all the codes i got was what i put on here no warning lights just flashes on dashboard prnd and d2 no d1 

It only drives when cold as soon as its warm it makes a loud bang noise like its stalled it only happend on Friday drove 30 minutes down road as soon as i come to a roundabout to slow down it went bang clunk like it stalled then no power turned off then on again had high revs straight into d2 then it died tried to restart car 4 times but it went bang/clunk into d2 but couldn't drive so got recovery home started it next morning absolutely fine but again as soon as its warm it starts doing the same thing i don't want to be charged for a mechatronics unit when it could be clutch rung 4 garages 3 out of four  said mechatronics unit but can't get it in garage till the 1st for a proper diagnostic test
