Sun visors

Featured Replies

Hi, first timer here.  Wondering if anyone has experience with broken sun visors on a 2018 A3 Cabriolet.  A while back the drivers side visor broke off, at the pivot end, not the clip, and now the passenger side visor has done the same.  Is this known as a common issue or have I just been unlucky?  I have just ordered a new pair from my local dealer for an eye watering £291 but have opted to try and fit them myself rather than pay the further £90 labour.  Does anyone here have experience with fitting these and could maybe offer some tips or direct me to a video?  I've found various things on YouTube but not for this model.

Thanks all.   Bruce

Hi Bruce, new member here also, I've had same issue on my 2017 a3 cabriolet with the drivers side visor so must be a common issue, wanted to ask is there any way to reattach the old one instead of having to buy a new one?

Mine have both snapped clean off, no way of fixing it.  Even if I could glue them, the electrical connection would be broken
