Aidang88 Posted Tuesday at 06:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:38 PM Hello all, I’m new to the forum. I have a Audi a4 b8 3.0 tdi avant Recently I’ve encountered issues when selecting drive from reverse. The car cuts out, not all the time but particularly when I shift it quickly. The car also struggles to reverse up steep hills and cuts out. Yesterday I tried to pull away from a stationary position at slow speeds and it cut out. I’m hoping to find a gearbox specialist that can carry out the repair work. I’ve included the diagnostic report. Any recommendations and guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Aidan
Steve Q Posted Tuesday at 06:49 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:49 PM When was the gearbox oil last changed? Old oil can sometimes cause issues with selecting gears.
Aidang88 Posted Tuesday at 07:17 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 07:17 PM Hi Steve, I had the gearbox oil changed last week, unfortunately that hasn’t helped
Steve Q Posted Tuesday at 07:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:51 PM Darn, at least it was worth a shot. Could be an issue with the megatronics unit.
