Rear temperature door motor: mechanical malfunction

Featured Replies

I have an issue with my Audi A4 2019 B9 where the rear central air vent is stuck on to full heat all the time regardless of the temperate setting. It’s getting very hot, almost too hot to touch.

I did a scan with Carista and get the attached error code. I think the motor needs replacing that controls the air mix.

Does anyone know how to replace this rear motor? I've tried searching and all i can find are the motors under the glove box but i think they are for the front and recirculation flaps.

Thanks in advance...

Can’t say for certain but I would think it maybe the motor circled in the photo

I would try unplugging it and scan again and see if you get a open circuit fault or something similar
