Is it possible to replace windscreen side trim?

Basically, what title says! My a3 drivers side (left) windscreen trim is breaking apart! Oddly right side is in great condition! 

Is it possible to replace windscreen left side trim on Audi a3 8L 2000 without removing windscreen itself? How is it attached? I have searched online and can't find any information how to remove this trim peace! Can't find any information what steps are taken when replacing windscreen! I assume it includes removal of these peaces! 

I don't want to source replacement part before I find out if it is possible to remove it without full windscreen removal!

I think part number is 8l0854327! I will add pictures of my problem later!
