Just got another a3, what to do next ?

Featured Replies

Hi folks, just got another Audi a3 , 2010, 1.6 diesel (cayc engine ) 5 speed manual.
mileage 200460 miles .

it does screams for service, just drove 70 miles home, average  fuel consumption on motorway 48 mpg, which I think not bad.

when started cold , it started straight away, engine was a bit shaking, some random squeaking sounds, could be alternator pulley , as interior light was uneven …

B version injectors,  a bit wet all around , wet under intake manifold , obvious signs of neglect ownership,  to get car right , should injectors to be removed and brought to machine shop for test ?
clean injector seats , new washers ? I suppose to replace intake manifold and valve cover seals… as it is pretty wet there .
someone with experience of these engine could guide right direction what to look for.
im more pd engine person, but time to move on.

thanks
