What year did A6 c7 models have ad-blue?

Currently have a 2014 A6 c7 avant and considering changing to an all road at around 2017. My wife has a 2l skoda Octavia diesel 1st registered in Jan 2018 and that does not have ad blue.

Understand why cars have adblue but I don't drive in cities so to my mind it's yet another thing to go wrong.

Is there a definitive resource that lists when models had to have adblue?
