Audi A4 B9 - 2019 35 TFSI Petrol

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! I;m new to this group. I drive A4 Petrol 35 TFSI Sport Automatic. Since 2025, I noticed when I drive it vibrates at speed of 60mph and after that i think its ok. Its ow 2026 and the vibration or shaking is same. Neither it has gone worse or bad.  What could it be causing this? Engine is fine no noise and geabox shift smoothly. Any advice I would appreciate it thank you.

Not sure....then shouldnt it shake or vibrate, when i drive over 60mph...?? it only happens first thing when i drive?

Hello Naveed,

As Brian says, but your description is vague.
Does it always vibrate around 60 mph?

You now state ‘…only happens first thing when I drive..’

How does that stack up with the answer to the first question?
Same brand of tyres across each axle?

Tyre pressures checked?
Do you also feel this vibration if you brake from around 60 mph?
Do you also feel the vibration through the driver’s seat?

Regards,

Gareth.

Gareth, my apologies if I have not been clear enough. First thing in the morning, when I am driving on a highway cruising at 60 mph, it vibrates in the driver's seat. I will stop somewhere in town for 20–30 minutes and restart driving again. The vibration is gone then. The front tires are of the same brand, winter ones, and the pressure is good at 32. And no, I do not feel vibration when I brake. Thank you for your help. Sincerely Navs

Thanks Navs,

My first port of call would be to get the front wheels balanced.

No symptoms first thing in morning?? Possibly explained by tyre not then warmed up and more rigid.
My suggestion would be to get them balanced immediately following a good run.

Please let us know how you get on.

Regards,

Gareth.

It was a tyre, and it's ok now. Thank you all.
