A4 ride quality - Sport vs S Line

Featured Replies

Hello all

I currently have a 2016 1.4TSFI Sport which I have owned since 2019. It has been a superb car, exceeding my expectations for fuel economy and ride quality. Having now covered over 100K miles, thoughts are turning to possibly replacing it with another used A4. A search on Auto Trader reveals that there are very few Sport models available matching my specification (saloon, petrol, 2022-2024, auto, up to 35K miles) compared with S Lines. Many reviews I read comment on the firmness of the S Line suspension and for the best ride comfort and low levels of road noise, stick with the Sport model with its standard, comfort suspension and 17" wheels.

My questions for you S Line owners are this: do you find the suspension too firm for your liking? do you find the road noise troublesome? do you regret choosing the S Line model?

Your feedback would be most welcome!

Thank you

Glen
