Just thought I'd say hello.  I've always joined forums with my previous cars but never really got round to it when I bought my A6.  I bought a 2007 A6 2.0 TDI S-line.Owned it for just over 18 months now and all was going well until a couple of weeks ago.

The fracture isn't visible in the first picture.  You still have to look closely in the second picture to be able to see it.

Hi Edd welcome to the club! As you say, at least you have managed to find the cause of your problem! Couldn't quite see the crack in the pic though!
