I've heard that warming glued-on badges with a hair dryer softens the glue enough for you to gently ease the badge off.

 

Don't know if the Audi "four rings" are stuck on, though.

Thanks Bald Eagle. I have heard of this one, which seems safer than the boiling water and fishing line...lol

I have used a bit of garden string on badger before believe it or not. Works a treat to get behind the badge and break the adhesive. I then used Autoglym Intensive Tar remover to get the rest of the stick stuff off.

That's OK if the badger is tame enough, but last time I tried that, the badger nearly had my fingers off!  :D

Yes I was lucky to get away from that badger in one piece!  :P

As an alternative to fishing line and hot water, i have used a hair dryer and dental floss (floss is soft and more likely to snap than score paintwork) this was on early 2000's VW's rather than newer cars but it worked for me.
