Hi All

hi all, just signed up due to buying my first audi, an a4 b6 1.9tdi s-line, will admit, it isnt in the best of conditions and much work needs doing on it, its also high mileage, but ive got the car cheap and it has potential, this is of course due to the fact that ive bought two cars this weekend.

anyway, i shall apologize in advance for the dumb questions i will be asking to get a better understanding of my new toy. :-)

How much did you give for it, also what are you calling high mileage?

i paid £2650 (it was up for £2800) it has 157k on the clock.

That's a good price and definitely good for plenty more miles, although I feel guilty now. Mine has 140k on the clock, one owner from new (an old couple) full stealer service and 4 new tyres and I only paid £1000 :)

i probably got a little more knocked off the top but we had to get get another car so was in a little bit of a rush to buy this one, im going to clean it up and fix the niggles on it and keep it for about 2 years, then get a new shape A4
