Audi A4 2 litre petrol turbo 2008

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently bought a 2008 A4 2 litre petrol turbo fsi.

The oil light came on a week or so after purchase so bought some oil topped it up then kept an eye on it after putting in a litre. Was low again a week or so later so booked it in to my local trusted garage and put another litre in. They checked for obvious leaks from the engine found none but found some oil when they removed the inter cooler pipe. They told me this "could" indicate a worn turbo that might need replacing???

I had never driven this car before I test drove this one so I don't know how it should perform it does seem weak at low revs and only seems to have true power above 3000 rpm

any advice gratefullly received

Been having similar issues with my 2010 model. Going in this week for new seals. Did you get to the bottom of your problem?
